About
Truckies Toolbox is a suite of iPhone apps for Australian truck drivers, made in Melbourne by Opus Novum PTY LTD.
Why we’re building it
Driving for a living comes with a lot of keeping track: hours, breaks, pay, kilometres, fuel, receipts and jobs. Most of it still ends up on scraps of paper, in a glovebox or in your head at the end of a long shift.
We think the tools for that job should be as well made as the trucks themselves: quick to use, easy to read in a dim cab, honest about what they do, and respectful of your privacy.
What’s in the toolbox
- Truckies Rest Log: work and rest hours, and fatigue limits under the Heavy Vehicle National Law. Available first.
- Truckies Pay: pay, hours and overtime. Coming soon.
- Truckies Trips: kilometres and trips. Coming soon.
- Truckies Fuel: fuel and expenses for tax time. Coming soon.

How we work
- One job per app. Each app does one thing properly, instead of one app trying to do everything.
- Plain English. No jargon, and no fine print hiding what an app can and can’t do.
- Your data is yours. Truckies Rest Log needs no account and keeps your records on your phone.
- Fair pricing. No ads and no subscriptions in Truckies Rest Log: it’s free for Standard Hours, with a one-off unlock for more.

Truckies Toolbox is an independent product. It isn’t a government service, and it isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) or any government agency. Our apps are tracking aids. They don’t replace your legal records or professional advice.
Who we are
Opus Novum PTY LTD is a Melbourne app development company founded by G S Maan. We design and build the Truckies Toolbox apps and this website.
